We have been looking closely at the Calgary Stampede with this question in mind:
Does the Calgary Stampede reflect the history, voices, legacy and vibrancy of Alberta? Who or what is missing? What could be even better?
Yesterday we designed something that will reflect this question. Today we "sat square" with a partner and asked each other these questions:
What is this design, what does it do?
How does it reflect the legacy or history of Alberta?
How does it make the Calgary Stampede better?
What simple machines does it include?
What materials might you need to build it?
